Part 2 of Weekly Challenge #65

Part 2 of April's challenge is holiday related too. Here are the instructions for this challenge:  use blue and your choice of silver, grey or white in your layout. (To represent fireworks OR traditional Hanukah colors) one frame inside of a photo. (We always try to find a unique way to display the great holiday photos we take)  add some buttons in the shape of a Mickey on your page. It does not have to be hidden (Popped buttons on our clothes after eating too much)  dangle an element or a photo (taking down ornaments) ; or use a scatter. (to represent coins given as gifts during Hanukah)  journal at least a quarter of your page (writing down New Year’s resolutions)

Here is my layout:

Hope everyone had a nice holiday

It was a busy day yesterday for me. For the first time in along time, we had the whole family over for dinner. We also invited my son Jeremy's future in-laws. After dinner, we all open our presents and my grandchildren were surprise when my husband & son John came in the living room with turtles that they ask for Christmas. Of course my grandson named his Leonardo and my granddaughter named hers Angel. I do not know where she came up with that name.
Today was a chill day for me, we only left the house today to go to church and grocery shopping. My son John got my husband tickets to see the Eagles play tonight, but the game was cancelled due to the snowstorm that we are getting now. He was happy that it was cancelled, because he really didn't want to get stuck in Philly for the night. The game was re-schedule for this Tuesday, which is better for my son, he doesn't have to go to work on Wednesday.

MS Weekly Challenge #58

With Halloween right around the corner, Leslie based the PP on Halloween and a few of her challenge rules are Halloween related!  So here are rules to this week's challenge:

·     Someone or something must be in costume (Plain characters don't count, since that isn't their costume!) **Note this does not have to be Halloween related, it can be you child dressed in a Disney costume at home, Christmas Overlay of Small World, Mickey in the Christmas parade, The main street horses during fourth of July with the red, white and blue ribbons, Characters dressed in beach attire from Mickey's surf's up breakfast. Be creative.
·    use an EVEN # of photos
·    use 2 different alphas
·    Put a costume on 1 of the pictures (by costume I mean a cute/different frame)
·    and you must leave praise on every single layout posted in this thread
Since I have never been to WDW for Halloween, I had to use pictures from the internet.  So here's what I came up with:

MS Weekly Challenge #57

This saturday was Teri's birthday, so she decided to do a "Disney Birthday" theme. It didn't have to be a birthday celebration at a Disney park, just Disney birthday related in some way. Besides, the usual requirements she wanted to see:

- lots of bright primary colors
- 2 or more photos
- a title made from an alpha and a fun font
- 3 or more papers
- and of course the Birthday theme

So here is my layout for the challenge...

MS Template Challenge #41

I will be hosting my very first template challenge 12/4 on MouseScrappers.  My template is completed and ready to go.  Since this is my first time doing anything like this, I needed a little help.  I never used 4shared before and wasn't sure how to upload my template.  So whenever I need help I alway ask my friend, Roxana from MouseScrappers. We PM most of the day yesterday, then finally after a dinner break, I did it.  I have my zipped folder in 4shared, yeah!!!  So don't forget to play, 12/4 MouseScrapper, see you there...

Work In Progress

My blog is still a work in progress.  I have been reading alot on how to customize a blog, but I can not understand a word they are saying.  I know my way around a computer, but not the technical stuff.  My hubby is too busy right now to help me, so I guess I am on my own to figure it out.  Let's see what I can accomplish today....
